Chr. Hansen A/S' intranet front page

In the top you see our generic visual design for this release of C-Net and in version 1.0 the ice reflect our natual colors division.
The left side includes external news about the company, a shared event calendar, IT helpdesk info and much more.
In the middle you see a mix of global and local news based on the users profile.
To the right is a branding element with the time from 3 of our major offices (it's also a location finder) and this day a local advertisement aboiut a new building opening and a global campaign focused on washing hands to avoid influenza.

I agree :-) The reasons behind the priorities for this frontpage design were that we did not launch a lot of collaborative features in this version 1 intranet. E.g. Team Sites will first be introduced in November with version 2. We are going to change several things on the front page going forward.

Nice and quite ordinary but no social interaction!
Nice looking and to the point - but it needs more social interaction and less formal information if the front page is meant to signal and support collaboration in Chr. Hansen.
