In the business world, communication plays a big part in engaging employees. There is ample research that proves companies that communicate well are four times more likely to have engaged staff.

There is much debate about the impact of social media on employee performance.

Harvard Business School conducted and ROI-engagement study that revealed for every 1% increase in employee engagement, the return on investment (ROI) for a social intranet increased 1000%.

Employee engagement is low. Very low.
